WHS Marching Band Parents & Students,
Mrs. Cotter has arranged for a professional photographer to take photos of the Marching Band students. Photos will be taken at WHS from 7:45am until 1pm on Wednesday 10/29/14. All students wishing to have their photo taken should check in with Mrs. Cotter in the band room
Middle school students that participated in Marching Band this year will need to make arrangements to be at the high school between 7:45am & 1pm on Wednesday. All students need to bring their completed order form and money at the time of the photo session. All students were given the information last week.

Good Afternoon WHS Band Parents,
Below are a few important updates:
Money due for your fruit sales today no later than Fridya!
Money due for region band tryouts by Wednesday (10/29/14) – $20.00
October 29 – Marching Band Pictures are being made. If you are ordering pictures, have your money ready.
October 31 – We are touring! (Marching band students)You will need black socks this day. There will be after school rehearsal to run through the show.
November 6 – After school rehearsal 4-5 Mandatory you must be here!
November 11 – We are performing in a Veterans Day program (all band students) This will be during the day at school. Wear black shirts and dress black pants, black socks (Kevin), and black shoes. Girls wear black and white. No short skirts!
November 22 – We need 20 parents to work the Clemson Football game
November 29 – We need 20 parents to work the Clemson/USC football game.
There will be after school rehearsal on Friday, October 31, 2014 to run through the show. The band will perform the show one last time at half time on Fridays game.

This Friday we will be serving a Halloween themed dinner for the students. We are in need of the following donated items:
-Chicken fingers (Enough for 70)
-Pasta salad (Enough for 70)
-Halloween Dessert (Enough for 70)
Veggie Tray (Enough for 70)
-Halloween Plates, Cups, Napkins (Enough for 70)

This is the final week for fruit sales. If you have any family that wishes to purchase online please visit:

10% of all fruit sales will go towards any unpaid band fees.
The fruit sale is a great way for our Band program to earn money for much needed supplies. The band program is an all year program with many different band opportunities throughout the year including guard.
Please help the WHS Band and order your fruit today!
All fruit order sheets must be turned in by Friday, October 31st. Online orders will run through Sunday, November 2 at midnight.

We need two crockpots of mac n cheese
Hamburger buns (enough for 70)
The booster club will provide BBQ chicken and BBQ pork.

WHS Band Parents & Students,
There will be an after school meeting for the WHS Band on Thursday, October 23 immediately after school. The Marching Band students will be meeting to decide on awards. We will watch the video from Upper State and the students will have input into next year’s show.
At 6:00 the rest of the band will come in and we will warm up and rehearse for the concert. At MOST the concert should only be 45 minutes.
Friday night, October 24, 2014 – Homecoming Game. The Band will wear band uniforms.
Saturday, October 25th we have an opportunity to raise some money for the band. We need 20 volunteers to help work at the Clemson Home Game. We will be assisting with escorting people to their seats. If we can get 20 volunteers to work the next 3 home games at Clemson we can earn a substantial amount of money that would help with some much needed items for the band. Below are the details:
All volunteers need to be 18 and older to work.Call time will be 2:30 pm for the 7 pm kick off. Work time will be anywhere from 8 to about 10 hours.
